A most excellent bike–too bad they dropped it in shipping! What a great bicycle–just make sure that you are waiting for it, like I thought I was. They ‘sneaked’ it over the fence, bending the front axle and damaging both axles, the front rim and spokes and the rear frame (2 plastic bolt covers on the right side had EXPLODED). Fortunately I am also a bike mechanic. I actually love this bike. Pretty average for such a low budget bike. Well, what can you expect in the way of components for $211?The drivetrain is crap, the brakes are so-so, the handlebars are too short for a mtb, the shocks are microbudget, the wheelset is iffy, and as always, the tires are simply placeholders for true working rubber.The stem could have been far better at this price point, but I am glad to see that it is at least shorter than what most big box bikes have on em.Edit: After less than one year, I now have to…
Great budget bike (and reliable!) I mostly use it for going to my local store and occasionally for some wild off-roading when Iâm bored of riding the sidewalk, and itâs held up great. Some parts arenât attached the tightest, but it can be easily fixed with some hex wrenches.
