For 45 years, Mongoose has been in the dirt, down the trails, and on the ramps. Founded in 1974 in a Southern California garage, Mongoose was born from BMX racing with products that push the limits of what a rider can do on the track. Our latest line of BMX race bikes, the Title series, have been designed using that same race pedigree. Designed for beginner-level riders, the Mongoose Title Junior gives you a trophy-worthy bike at an amazingly affordable price! The Title features a lightweight Tectonic T1 aluminum frame (18.50” top tube), integrated headset, and internal cable routing for clean lines and added protection. The Title Hi-Ten steel 4-inch rise handlebar and 30mm stem are designed for precision riding, while the strong Xposure double-wall alloy rims and Arisun XLR8 BMX race tires add crucial durability without weighing you down. The 40x16T gearing with 3-piece tubular chromoly 150-millimeter cranks, and euro cartridge bottom bracket offer a high-quality drivetrain capable of winning speeds. An alloy V-brake with alloy brake levers provide speed control, while the Hi-Ten BMX fork with 1-1/8″ threadless steerer and taper leg helps maximize performance. This bike ships ready to be assembled and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on the frame and a 1-year limited warranty on parts.

Maui wowwie was this a good purchase. For a mere $247 bucks this bad … Maui wowwie was this a good purchase. For a mere $247 bucks this bad boy was a no brainer. When I saw the price and the specs I just couldn’t help myself, I had to give this one a try. I smashed the button to purchase my chromoly and aluminum Steed and waited patiently by the door. Days past…only 2 of them, but they were the longest, loneliest, coldest and darkest days I’ve witnessed in recent memory. I only say that because I never knew what I was missing without this bike in my life…
A lot of bike for the price. To preface, I grew up in the bicycle business. My family owned a chain of bike shops, even sold Mongoose back when it was BMX Products. Except for the seat/seat-post combo. I live this bike. It is well build, well spec’ed and pretty lightweight. You could do some entry-level racing on it (as I was hoping to get my daughter into). It assembled easily and is of bicycle shop quality. The seat/seat-post combo, although it could have been a decision about weight savings and race-ready…
Great Value!!! After watching crazy Al Cayne’s review of this bike 100 times( thanks Al for the great review!!), I finally decided to buy it.First impressions…the bike was packed EXTREMELY well!90% assembled so no need to take it to a bike shop.Read the manual, it contains important and helpful information. As for performance, the bike is light, smooth, and FAST!!I took the decals off, and the bike looks just SICK!If you’ve been reading/watching reviews…
