Manayunk Bike Race – The Philadelphia Cycling Classic, also known as the Manayunk Bike Race, is a 12 mile circuit course starting and finishing at the Manayunk Wall before the art museum section of Fairmount Park in Philadelphia.
The men’s race consists of ten laps totalling 120 miles. The women’s competition is a five lap race totaling 60 miles.
Twenty five men’s teams and twenty women’s teams competed at this year’s event.
In the tradition of the great European races spanning multiple cities, the Philly Cycling Classic traverses the Philadelphia neighboring communities of Manayunk, East Falls and Fairmount Park.
